We’re so excited for the fall session of the Belle Sherman Enrichment Program!

We’ve got some returning favorites such as: Cool School Food, Seishi Karate, Amazing Animals, Pathfinder Role Playing, Chemistry, Autumn’s Harvest, and Woodworking!

As well as several new offerings: learn some Hip-Hop dance moves; get strong & healthy with Choose Health: Food, Fun, and Fitness; write and illustrate your own Graphic Novel; or practice the art of Kung Fu!

Registration is now open, and will close on Friday, September 14th at 2:00pm. Class sizes are limited! If enrollment is over the maximum class size, enrollment will be by lottery. After 9/14 we’ll post about class availability on the blog at: belleshermanenrichment.blogspot.com

Late sign-ups will be accepted for classes with space!

A confirmation email will be sent to all students who get a spot in the class. Payment directions will be included in the email.

Tropical Family Dance Party – this Friday!

Belle Sherman Main Building Cafeteria

Join DJ Nicky and your Belle Sherman friends for a FAMILY DANCE PARTY!

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Suggested donation at the door of $5 per person or $20 per family

All proceeds support the 5th grade end-of-year activities.

Don’t miss Friday’s Movie Night!

Bring the kids out tomorrow, Friday, December 8, to see “Trolls” projected in our very own Belle Sherman cafeteria (main building).

6:00-8:00pm

Suggested Donation $5 per person, $20 per family

Popcorn, pizza, baked goods and drinks available, all $1 each

Bring blankets and pillows for floor-seating comfort! (there are no chairs)

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Proceeds benefit the 5th Grade year-end activities.

this season, your online shop is still open, and proceeds from your purchase will
benefit your school. Just enter the Art ID# found on your order form. You can even
Upload New Art, after you enter this year’s Art ID#.
Or place an Individual Order: Take your kid’s art out of that storage bin and turn
it into custom holiday gifts! Either upload art to the website, order from archived art
(on file at SilverGraphics since 2005), or select art from your SilverGraphics account.

Orders made by December 6 will be eligible for HOME delivery by December 23 – not school pick-up.

Staff Appreciation Event during parent/teacher conference day this Thursday November 9

On Thursday, November 9th during parent- teacher conference day, the PTA and the families of Belle Sherman will host a luncheon in the Main School Library to show appreciation for our wonderful staff. We will need food donations as well as help with set-up, serving and clean up – just a half hour of your time before or after your conference, or whenever you can offer would help make this a great event!

Families are asked to provide a dish or item for the luncheon according to the following guidelines:

Pre-K, Kindergarten & First grades:  Main dishes

Second & Third grades: Desserts, Flowers, and drinks

Fourth & Fifth grades: Salads or appetizers

Please bring food to the main school staff lounge or library on Thursday morning. Dishes should be labeled with ingredients (no nuts, please.)  Please remember to pick up your dishes and serving utensils at the end of the day.

We will also need help with set up, serving and clean up.

Times needed are:

Set up 10:00-11:00am

Serving 11:00 – 1:00pm

Clean up 1:00- 2pm
