Welcome to the 2017 Belle Sherman Book Fair !
During the week of March 6th-1oth, students can buy books at the annual Scholastic Book Fair in the Belle Sherman library.
The Hours of our Book Fair will be:
- Monday, March 6: 8:00 am – 3:00pm
- Tuesday, March 7: 8:00 am – 7:30pm (Book Fair Reception)
- Wednesday, March 8: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Thursday, March 9: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Friday, March 10: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Everyone will be able to buy books during the scheduled times shown above. Students in grades 2-5 will also be able to buy books during their recess time.
Thursday, March 9th and Friday, March 10th, are parent/teacher conference days, the Book Fair will be open until 3:00pm. You are welcome to come either before or after you meet with your child’s teacher.

Please note that due to new New York State regulations this year we have to charge sales tax on all purchases.
At the Sale: we will accept cash, checks and credit cards at the book fair. If you choose to send a check or cash with your child please make the check payable to: Belle Sherman PTA. We will provide confirmation of your payment upon request, please contact: email@example.com or use the contact form at the bottom of the page.
Pre-Sales: You can purchase pre-sale vouchers by credit card, check or cash through Cheddar Up (a new web-based payment system). Please do not use the e-check option. You will need to know the child’s grade level and last name of their teacher so that we can assign the voucher to the proper student.
Pre-Sales are available until FRIDAY, MARCH 3!
Once we receive your payment, a voucher indicating the purchased amount will be issued under your child’s name. The voucher will be given to the children when they visit the book fair. If your child doesn’t spend the full amount during their first visit, we will keep the balance recorded on their voucher. This balance must be used during the 2017 Book Fair week. All vouchers expire 3/10/2017 and no cash will be refunded. Any remaining balance will be donated to the ALL FOR BOOKS program, we use these donations to ensure that every student can purchase a book. Separate donations are also welcome!
Parents are needed! Please consider volunteering to help run the cash registers and help children select books. Perhaps you would like to work during the time your child comes in for class library hour. For this event to occur, we need everyone’s help and your willingness to volunteer in the Book Fair will be deeply appreciated!
